Ahlam is an experienced Business and Economics tutor, academic writing mentor, and research skills coach who helps students develop stronger analytical thinking, structured arguments, and academic confidence. She supports students in improving their own work through guidance on essay structure, evaluation, research skills, and effective academic communication.

She also teaches English Language and Literature, Psychology, and Sociology, supporting students across a range of essay-based and analytical subjects.

With over 15 years of teaching experience across leading international curricula, including Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge AS & A Level, Pearson Edexcel, and the IB Diploma Programme, Ahlam brings a deep understanding of assessment criteria, academic expectations, and exam preparation strategies.

She holds an Honours degree in Psychology and an MBA and is currently a PhD candidate, bringing advanced research expertise and academic depth to her teaching. Ahlam supports students from secondary school through to sixth form, IB Diploma, and pre-university levels, helping them strengthen their subject knowledge, writing skills, critical thinking, and overall academic performance.

Exam preparation is one of Ahlam’s core strengths. She has successfully prepared students for IGCSE, AS & A Level, IB, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, and Cambridge English exams, achieving a consistently high success rate of 80–90%.

IB Specialization: Over a decade of experience preparing students for international curricula, including IB Business Management (SL/HL). Ahlam possess an expert-level grasp of IB assessment criteria, command terms, and the specific demands of the Paper 1 (Case Study) and Paper 2 exams.

DP1 Mentorship: Proven track record of guiding DP1 students through the transition to IB-level expectations, focusing on developing the critical thinking skills, study techniques, and time-management strategies necessary for long-term academic resilience.

Ahlam has over 15 years of teaching and academic support experience and has helped many students exceed their target grades in high-stakes exams.

Ahlam holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pretoria and an Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa. She also has TESOL/ESL certifications and has completed multiple platform-based training programmes focused on IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge exams.
