The national curriculum (CAPS) is used in many South African schools. Our tutors help students with Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, English and all CAPS subjects - so content is aligned to what your child learns in class. We work across grades from Grade 4 to Matric.
For Grade 12, CAPS leads to the National Senior Certificate (NSC). We support NSC exam preparation and revision using past papers and exam technique.

- What does a CAPS tutor do?
- A CAPS tutor teaches the national curriculum used in public schools and by NSC candidates. Lessons follow your child's school work and term tests, then shift to past papers and exam technique before the June exams and the November finals.
- Which CAPS subjects do you tutor?
- We tutor Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, English, Afrikaans, Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, History and Geography. Each subject page lists tutors who teach that subject at your child's grade, from Grade 8 to matric.
- Can a CAPS tutor help before the matric finals?
- Yes. The 2026 NSC finals run from 13 October to 26 November. In the final weeks, lessons focus on past papers, marking against the memo and the topics that carry the most marks. Starting earlier gives more time to close gaps, but late support still helps.
- How much does CAPS tutoring cost?
- Lessons range from R400 to R1,500 per hour, depending on the tutor's experience and the level. There is no long-term contract. You meet the tutor at a free Meet & Greet before booking the first lesson.
