Your child meets the tutor for a short, relaxed video call before committing to lessons. It's a chance to see if the fit feels right.
Once you've found the right fit, the tutor builds a plan around your child's curriculum, exams and goals, with live one-to-one lessons on our interactive whiteboard.

We usually respond within a few hours of receiving your request to confirm availability and begin the matching process. Once we have suitable tutors available, we'll recommend the best options for your needs.
Yes. We arrange a free, no-obligation Meet & Greet so your child can meet the tutor and see whether the fit feels right before committing to lessons.
If you and your child are happy with the tutor, you'll receive a booking link to get started. Once your booking is confirmed and payment has been made, the system will open a direct chat with your tutor so you can organise your first lesson together. The tutor will then build a learning plan around your child's curriculum, goals and areas for support.
Online lessons should feel personal. Your child learns live, one-to-one with a real tutor who gets to know how they learn and what they need support with. Our interactive online classroom gives tutors and students the tools to work together in real time - from writing through problems and annotating work to sharing documents, resources and ideas. It is an active lesson, not simply a video call. Your child can join from a laptop or tablet, wherever they are. For safeguarding, every lesson is recorded, and parents can request access to a recording at any time. Recordings are not available as an on-demand library.
We don't offer free trial lessons, but we do offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute Meet & Greet before you book. It's a chance for your child to meet their recommended tutor, have a conversation and see how they connect before you decide whether to continue with lessons. If the tutor doesn't feel like the right fit, we'll help you find a new match.
Lesson rates are tailored to your child's curriculum, subject and level, as well as the tutor's experience and expertise. Rates start from R400 per hour, with more specialised subjects, levels and tutor expertise priced accordingly. Once we understand what your child needs, we'll recommend a suitable tutor and let you know the lesson rate before you book, so you can decide with confidence.
No. There is no long-term contract or monthly commitment. You simply book the lessons your child needs, when they need them. Families who prefer regular weekly sessions can organise an ongoing schedule directly with their tutor. Many parents choose to purchase larger packages of hours, which can include complimentary lessons, while still having the flexibility to arrange sessions around their family's routine. You can adjust your schedule as your child's needs change.

Yes. We have tutors experienced in supporting students with different learning needs and adapting their pace, structure and teaching approach to the individual student. If your child has a specific learning need, tell our team when you enquire so we can look for the most suitable tutor.
Yes. We support students across IEB, CAPS, Cambridge, IB, Pearson Edexcel and other international curricula. If you don't see your child's curriculum listed, ask our team and we'll check whether we have a suitable tutor in our network.
We support a wide range of subjects from primary and secondary school through to university level. Our tutors cover subjects across mathematics, sciences, languages, humanities, business, technology, arts and specialist subjects. If your subject isn't listed, ask us. We may still be able to find the right tutor for you.
Absolutely. We understand that school, activities and family life can make every week different. Once you're matched with a tutor, you can organise lesson times directly with them around your child's schedule and the tutor's availability. Whether your child needs a regular weekly session or more flexibility around exams and busy periods, you can arrange a schedule that works for you.
