Dominique - Computer Science (HL/SL) Tutor

With more than 30 years of international education experience, Dominique is one of Southern Africa's most experienced Computer Science and Information Technology educators.

Her career spans senior leadership, curriculum development, examiner roles, teacher training, and classroom teaching across South Africa, Kenya, Dubai, Malaysia, and Eswatini. She has taught and led programmes within the Cambridge, IB, A Level, IEB, CAPS, and AP systems, giving students a unique advantage through deep curriculum expertise and first-hand understanding of assessment standards.

Dominique currently serves as an IB Digital Society Principal Examiner and Assessment Author and is an External Moderator for Computer Science examinations. She has also worked with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, developed Coding and Robotics curriculum resources, and lectures future educators in ICT and Coding & Robotics at tertiary level.

Whether supporting students preparing for final examinations, improving programming skills, or mastering challenging Computer Science concepts, Dominique combines academic rigour with a highly engaging teaching style that builds confidence, independence, and long-term success.
