Evangelia

Evangelia is an experienced IBDP Physics educator and examiner with over nine years of experience supporting students across the IB Diploma Programme. Her approach combines strong subject expertise with inquiry-driven teaching, helping students move beyond memorising formulas to genuinely understand how and why Physics works. As a current IBDP Physics Examiner, she brings valuable insight into IB assessment standards and expectations. She has extensive experience supporting students with HL and SL Physics, exam preparation, Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays and scientific research.

Her wider STEM background includes astronomy, robotics and environmental science, alongside mentoring students in national and international science competitions. She is particularly well suited to students seeking rigorous academic support, stronger problem-solving skills and a deeper conceptual understanding of IB Physics.

Evangelia uses an inquiry-driven, concept-focused approach, encouraging students to question, investigate and explain their reasoning rather than simply apply memorised methods. She adapts lessons to each student's level and learning needs, identifying gaps in understanding before building confidence through targeted explanations, problem-solving and exam-style practice.
